Re: The Anime & Manga Thread
I knew you were going to make this. xD
I've just recently started to watch anime rather than read manga... but I can only watch it dubbed, which is annoying. (I've watched eps of Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh and Ouran Host Club) which I all love so far.

Re: The Anime & Manga Thread
I'm glad to see an anime and manga thread. Now I can go Otaku on you all XD
Anyway I'm currently watching Hayate the combat butler/Hayate No Gotoku 2nd season, well almost finished it but it's really great and references from various things can be a good laugh when watching it but overall and awesome anime. Another anime I'm also watching along with Hayate is D Gray man. That's been quite interesting but I have at least another 90 odd episodes to go...

Lucky Star is excellent, one f the first anime I watched. :3 Enjoy it. Subbed anime isn't really that hard to get into, to be honest.Matchi wrote:I knew you were going to make this. xD

Lately I've been watching Bamboo Blade, which is excellent. And I've been reading Hekikai no AiON, an absolutely fantastic manga. Really, one of the best I've read.

Re: The Anime & Manga Thread
I haven't really done any reading/viewing in the the past week. I've just been doing other things. I started watching the first episode of Motto To-LOVE-Ru, but just got bored. Ah well. Now I can waste my spare time on TF2 instead.

I've been meaning to watch Black Rock Shooter for a while, but haven't gotten around to it yet... I should probably download it after Paranoia Agent finishes DLing.

Pokémon, Yi-Gi-Oh and Beyblade are the only forms of anime I've ever really been into. But awesome ones they were.

I still look upon all three of those with affection simply because they were part of my childhood. I can't hate them at all. Though looking back now, they were all disappointingly average, other than Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Re: The Anime & Manga Thread
Pokémon is by far the most nostalgic of those, for me and friends. I still have fond memories of the other two, but Pokémon is probably my most nostalgic thing of all. The games, the cards, the show... all such magical times. ;__;

Oddly Beyblade is the most nostalgic for me. ;~;
But yeah, just watched Whisper of the Heart. Fantastic movie, I might start watching more Ghiblis (The only other I've seen being Spirited Away).

It's still pretty up there for me. Partly because of the actually blades as well, they were cool.Masamune wrote:Oddly Beyblade is the most nostalgic for me. ;~;
I think I still have some of them. But I'll never forget when I lost my Dragoon. D':

Finished Bakemonogatari, absolutely adored it. My fifth favourite anime now.
Started Letter Bee as well, and about four episodes in. Liking it a lot so far.

Re: The Anime & Manga Thread
Just catching up with anime that I have not finished yet. managed to trick a friend into watching Kampfer. God that made me laugh, falling into a trap anime without knowing XD
Btw masa, your avatar looks familiar but I can't think what the name of the anime is that's in my mind. I know of so many anime females that I'm getting questions from my friends wondering why...
Dark secrets must be dark XD

Kuroneko from My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute! XD Easily the best character. I don't even know how that series managed to make Kirino the lead heroine, seeing as she's such a bitch.
Aaaaaanyway, I have a few OVAs and movies to watch. May start with Black Rock Shooter or Summer Wars, not sure.
